TWO LOVE STORIES, ONE CELEBRANT

It’s not often that a celebrant becomes part of a family’s love story, but for Life Tree Celebrants, that’s exactly what happened with the Weldon family.

In October 2025, Helen officiated the wedding of Ryan and I, a beautiful Filipino-Western fusion ceremony held at Lawley Park in Albany. Just a year earlier, on October 26, 2024, she had also solemnised my sister Evelyn’s and her husband Max’s own heartfelt wed-ding ceremony at Bornholm Hall.

Today marks Evelyn and Max’s first wedding anniversary, and all of us agree: Life Tree Celebrants brought something truly special to both occasions. In fact, a few day’s after announcing our engagement, my sister had already forwarded Helen’s details.

Helen and Kali’s connection with both couples has continued beyond their wedding days. Staying in touch, sharing in milestones, and celebrating anniversaries together has made the experience even more meaningful, which I feel is a testament to Life Tree’s philosophy that every ceremony is the beginning of an ongoing relationship, not just an event.

For Ryan and I, our ceremony reflected love that crossed cultures and traditions. Helen worked closely with us to beautifully weave Filipino customs, including the veil, cord, and coin rituals, into a modern Western ceremony that honoured both our heritage and individuality.

“Helen went above and beyond to make sure everything reflected our story,” Ryan shared. “She helped us find decorations, understood my cultural rituals, and made our day truly unforgettable.”

Behind the scenes, Kali ensured that every word, song, and moment was perfectly heard, managing sound and coordination with care and precision. Together, the pair crafted seamless, inclusive, and love-filled ceremonies for both couples.
