Celebrations of Loss
Life Tree Celebrants was created with a dream - to provide a funeral celebrancy service delivered by truly professional, compassionate and caring women, giving families a special, unique and individualised funeral service for their loved one.
Planning a funeral ceremony or memorial service for our loved ones creates an opportunity to create a special farewell, one that celebrates their life and mourns the loss of your family member. Whilst you are dealing with your own grief, there are so many decisions to be made in such a short timeframe. It’s not surprising that you may feel somewhat overwhelmed.
Life Tree Celebrants specialises in working together with you to create a unique ceremony that truly reflects your loved one. There are lots of options and no hard and fast rules. What is most important is that the service reflects the individual in a way that you, your family & friends knew them. For some, a more traditional service with some religious content, such as a prayer or reading, is comforting. Whilst for others, a unique funeral with many special ‘touches’ may fit the flamboyant and eccentric personality of their loved one! At the end of the day, it’s important for everyone at the funeral to know that the service truly is a reflection of their loved one... not a ‘script’ about someone else!
“A funeral or memorial service is an opportunity to help make and create a ceremony that lives on in the memories and hearts of those left behind.”
Our Services
Funeral Services & Memorial Ceremonies
Your ceremony may be conducted in many different places – a chapel or cemetery is certainly not the only option. Home or at some other place that is special to you and your loved ones memory, could be perfect for your farewell - community parks and gardens, beaches, homes ... there are so many options!
Pet Funerals
Farewell your pet at their home, perhaps their favourite park or special place that you shared together.
Community Memorial Ceremonies
There are times when communities experience a collective loss! We all need to come together to share our stories, grieve for what our ‘village’ has lost and consider where to from here.
Pre-planning your own service
“They say such nice things about people at their funerals, it makes me sad to realise that I will miss mine by just a few days.”
Planning your own funeral service gives you an opportunity to be a part of your farewell. Take the time now to talk with family and friends about how you would like your ceremony to be. Life Tree Celebrants would be delighted and honoured to be a part of your planning... to tell your story in your own voice.

“I want to thankyou both for looking after Robin and me during the funeral process. You both did an amazing, amazing job and I’m so glad you were both there.”
Grace - Willow’s Aunty
We contacted Helen and Kali to help us with a memorial service for my beautiful niece who died at 15 days old. Helen was absolutely wonderful and incredibly understanding in such a difficult time. She helped plan the exact service we wanted, right down to timing the sunset over the ocean to fit exactly in time with part of the service. Nothing was too tricky, despite going to them with no date and time confirmed, they worked around us and made sure they were available at incredibly short notice. Both Helen and Kali travelled for the service - and to meet us before hand, something we were so grateful for. I couldn't recommend them more, they made us instantly comfortable and helped in every way they could ❤. Thank you again, you made a truly horrible time that little bit more manageable and I know looking back I will only be more grateful for the beautiful service you helped us plan and share for our beautiful Willow bean.
“Helen & Kali’s warmth, kindness, compassion and love for Lindsey, for me and our family was so appreciated and very much needed. Lindsey’s ceremony was so special and one I know she would have loved. My heartfelt thanks to you both, my friends.”
“Myself and my family truly appreciate the sincere, compassionate and professional care afforded to us by Helen and Kali at Life Tree Funerals. “Helen’s use of pace for the funeral service was as impressive as her diction. The script she presented was both beautiful written and sincere in its delivery. I am adding her to my go-to celebrants!”
Thank you so much for being so caring, thoughtful and professional to make what seemed an extremely daunting task a week and a half ago into a beautiful service for Dad that we are so proud of.
Everything was perfect from the wording, photos to presentation. It assisted immensely in having the service layout and wording prior so our emotions were not as raw as if we were hearing for the first time. Appreciate everything you and your teams did for us and Dad.

We really appreciated all the work you put into making it such a good service and we felt absolutely nothing about it could have been better. You did so well with the words and what a beautiful speaking voice you have. I felt like it was all in very safe hands and really appreciated how you managed all the last minute tributes.

I would like to thank you & Kali for the most beautiful service you conducted for my beloved partner … on Tuesday at Pinnaroo. Everyone who spoke to me afterwards particularly mentioned it was the loveliest funeral they had ever been to, due in no small part to your gentleness and empathetic soft control of proceedings. A guiding hand is so important on the day for those of us grieving & we had full confidence in yours to allow us to concentrate & relax a little.
Thank you & warmest regards.

“Thank you so much for your help and support over this time. I thought the service was excellent and feel sure Mahita would have loved it!”
Helen and Kali were the celebrants for the funeral of our son Caleb. They were so compassionate and gentle and helped us to put together a service that was simply perfect for celebrating and remembering the life of our son. They were both with us through every step of the process and gave great ideas for the content of the service. We highly recommend them to anyone that is planning a funeral or a celebration of the life of a loved one.”

“Thank you Helen and Kali from Life Tree Celebrants for your kind and professional service at David’s funeral last week. You did everything that was requested with such style, grace and the utmost sincerity. So many friends who attended commented on the wonderful service you crafted. We all felt you captured the heart of the person whose sudden loss we were mourning and amazing life we were celebrating. We could not have asked for anything more. So grateful to have chosen you at this important time in our lives. xo”

What others are saying
If you ever need a funeral celebrant, do not pass up on the opportunity of using Helen Bolton’s services. Helen is marvelously thorough in her preparation and tactful in finding out about the life of the deceased, presenting it well, and taking any sensitivities of family and friends into account. Her presence at the funeral itself is powerful but gentle and maternally reassuring, so that she conveys the leading characteristics of the loved one in simple and effective language that does not encroach on other talks and speeches. All the tasks associated with the funeral are handled kindly and efficiently. She is open to and tolerant of any changes of mind before the ceremony, and has a broad understanding of human nature that allows her to present a well-rounded, well-timed and memorably inclusive occasion for all concerned, including those watching on livestream. She is also timely and scrupulous in administering after-tasks, such as the transmission of transcripts of speeches. Her kindly organisation of our ceremony helped to consolidate the warm memories we harbour of our departed loved one.
Richard - Jean’s son-in-law
“Kali Caramia and Helen Bolton bring a wealth of genuine life experience to their ceremonies. With a graceful elegance in the delivery of ceremony; to the calming tones of their voices that warmly wrap you up in the moment, and the natural talent in crafting a meaningful ceremony that is both authentic and comforting, Helen and Kali are certainly the Celebrants for all life ceremonies.”
