AFGRI Country Music Muster

Kali & Helen were invited to MC the 2025 AFGRI Country Music Muster at the Mt Trio Bush Camp & Caravan Park in the Stirling Ranges, 30 October - 2 November, 2025. That’s right - THREE DAYS of country music on the stage that is ‘nestled beneath the gum trees’ … with a dance floor all set up for barn and line dancers … and musicians from across Australia! To be honest, we were a bit trepidacious! We had not only never MCed a 3-day event, we had never MCed a Country Music event … in fact, we had never even BEEN TO a Country Music Muster!

We had a BALLLLLL!!!!! The location, at the foot of Mt Trio in the magnificent Stirling Range, was mesmerising; the artists were talented and inspiring; the venue was rustic, with unique additions, including a stage made from old truck trays; and the audience - well they just created such an atmosphere as they sang along, danced and enjoyed everything on offer …. which also included food trucks, Shepherd’s Hut wines, Dunes beer on tap and lots of merchandise from local producers and the artists!

Connie Kis Andersen, an outstanding performer, who has just released a song, A Place Called Home, that has hit #1 on the National Country Songs Top 40 Australian Airplay Charts, shared her thoughts:

”I recently had the distinct pleasure of meeting, and working alongside Helen and Kali at the AFGRI Mountain Country Music Muster where I was an artist on the bill.
