Our 'no-fuss' wedding

“Rosalind and I both wanted a “no-fuss” wedding, in our garden, and on meeting with Helen, she understood our wishes and made it a wonderful occasion for ourselves and our children.

Helen was so helpful in the planning of the day and without her the ceremony would not have been the wonderful day it was. Helen's understanding and thoughtfulness throughout our time together is something we will never forget.”

Postscript: In late 2024, Phil contacted Helen to ask her to perform a similar ‘no-fuss’ ceremony for him - this time it would be at Pinaroo Cemetery. Phil had enjoyed married life for 3 years ~ anticipating that he would only have 6-12 months to live after his marriage. On 27 December 2024, Helen drove from Albany to Pinaroo and fulfilled Phil’s wish, delivery his funeral ceremony that he had mostly written himself!
